Temperatures dropped as low as 1deg at 6am this morning in Sunbury and sure enough the grass was still crunchy underfoot at 7:30am.
As I took the opportunity look around I found some telltale signs of an unwelcome visitor along the strawberry wall – it had taken a young marigold I had transplanted there and there were also many holes dug along the row between plants.
Strangely the rainbow chard hasn’t been touched! The messy culprit did leave one clue, so tell me, could it be a rabbit or a possum?
What sort of rascal digs these holes, leaves little dark droppings but doesn’t eat anything??
